Our Story
From Lahore to the UAE
Spaces by Aleena began in 2015 in Pakistan, as a small interior design practice with a clear point of view. What started with a handful of homes has grown into a full practice — with a furniture manufacturing factory and a design studio, both based in Pakistan, supporting every project we take on.
We now operate in the UAE as well, and design homes across both countries. The scale has changed; the way we work — closely, and one house at a time — has not.
Our Journey
A Decade in the Making
2015
Founded in Lahore
Spaces by Aleena begins as a small interior design practice in Lahore, Pakistan.
2017
Karachi
Operations extend to Karachi, opening the practice to a second city.
2018
The Factory
A furniture manufacturing factory is established in Pakistan, bringing production in-house.
2019
The Studio
A full design studio follows, based alongside the factory in Pakistan.
2022
The UAE
The practice expands to the UAE, taking on its first projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Today
Pakistan & the UAE
We design homes across both countries, working closely with each client from first sketch to final styling.
A Little About Aleena
She leads every project, personally
Aleena leads all design projects and is a central figure in every client relationship. Understanding a client's needs, winning their trust, and collaborating closely with them is at the heart of her work — and something she finds particularly rewarding.
No two clients share the same life, taste, or dream — just as no two interiors share the same light or proportions. Each space is different, but all of them reflect her instinct for light, air, and simplicity; for restraint alongside softness; and for material and texture above all.
